Introducing Wolf Tooth’s Cyclocross 1x specific chainrings, designed with their patented Drop-Stop® technology. These chainrings were the first of their kind and have since found use beyond cyclocross in various applications such as commuting, gravel riding, mountain bikes, and even full-on road use with their giant 50t rings.

For optimal mounting, stock 2x bolts won’t work, so you’ll need to use specialized bolts like Wolf Tooth’s 6mm bolts. Additionally, these rings can be mounted in either the big or small ring position on double cranksets, but the most common setup is in the big ring position for chainstay clearance.
To ensure smooth and secure operation, it’s recommended to use a clutch-style rear derailleur and possibly a chainguide or chainkeeper when riding in extremely muddy conditions. With Wolf Tooth’s Cyclocross chainrings, you can experience improved performance and reliability on your favorite rides.
