These hood reinforcement plates have a practical, functional purpose. The Military Humvee is known for taking incredible abuse in the field and in combat. That abuse can result in hood fractures, typically around the lifting hooks. Take preemptive action now to avoid expensive repairs to your hood later. This item is fabricated from single piece thick gauge steel with powder coating to resist rust, including a rubber gasket to protect your hood and prevent over-tightening. Can include high grade installation hardware or not.

Option 1: 4 PC TOTAL (2 PLATES + 2 GASKETS)
Option 2: 24 PC TOTAL (20 pc RIVNUTS & NUTS + 2 PLATES + 2 GASKETS)
STEPS FOR INSTALL:
1.) Pilot drill with HOOD REINFORCEMENT PLATE as pattern
2.) drill pilot holes to 25/64in
3.) insert rivnuts
4.) install RUBBER GASKET and HOOD REINFORCEMENT PLATE
5.) fasten screws
