The new version of the Maxxis Forekaster is aimed squarely at modern short travel (100mm-130mm) trail bikes – aka the “downcountry” segment. Intended to be a “Goldilocks” tire, the new Forekaster (released July 2022) rolls faster than a Minion or even the Dissector but provides more predictable cornering, climbing, and braking traction than the Aspen or Rekon

• Redesigned aggressive tread, high volume casing tire optimized to fit in between the XC tire and Gravity focused tire options
• Usage is aimed squarely at modern short travel (100mm-130mm) trail bikes – aka the downcountry segment, intended to be a Goldilocks tire
• Rolls fast but also provides solid cornering and braking traction in a broad range of trail conditions
• Taller side knobs to improve cornering grip
• A more denser packed tread pattern to increase rolling efficiency
• WT: Wide trail casing is optimized for 30-35mm inner width rims
• EXO+: Durable 60 TPI casing, add in EXO puncture protection layer in the sidewalls, and with a small butyl insert around the bead

• 3C MaxxTerra: intermediate triple compound, more traction than MaxxSpeed, better tread wear and less rolling resistance than MaxxGrip
