Lazer G1 MIPS Helmet

Belgian helmet maker Lazer is celebrating UCI Road World Championships with the release of the G1, its lightest helmet yet.

At just 189 grams, it is designed for the worlds fastest cyclists.

The G1 sheds grams by using a lighter version of Lazer’s Advanced Rollsys System, which provides easy 360-degree fit adjustment via a small roller on the top-rear of the helmet. The helmet will ship with both Race and Comfort padding, so you can choose to shave extra grams or have a slightly more comfortable ride.

If you’re really focused on aero gains, Lazer’s Aeroshell can be used with the G1. The added shell can be used for strictly aerodynamic purposes, giving a lightweight aero advantage. Or, during colder rides, the shell works a way to shield your head from the elements and hold in warmth that would otherwise flow out through the helmets 22 vents.
